This tip is going about buying a boat end we try to help future boaters in making the right choice. Every Baitrebel owns a different boat and only Lund and Alumacraft have 3 boats within our club and that is because we have a dealer here. The rest are made of polyester/aluminum like Tracker, Askeladden, Elan, Logic and other different brands. We explain in this report why we have this or that boat and why we made that choice. The Baitrebels who are mostly fishing vertical on the great lakes and rivers have the aluminum boats because they are build to drift and to be used with a electro engine. These boats are stored indoors. Other Baitrebels have boats made by polyester and are better suitable for salt water and to store outside. Let me tell you this, everybody is happy with his boat and that’s exactly what you need. Buy a boat big enough, a boat is always to small. Mine is 5 meters because my garage is not bigger but big enough for still water but to low for water with white horses. Look for a boat best for your type of fishing so, for drifting you need a deep keel and the heavy-er the boat is, the better the drift will be. Are you aiming for Sea? Look for a boat with high walls and maybe a shelter. Do you want to be mobile, look for a boat you can transport on the roof of your car but remember, buy the biggest one you can.

Just remember, a boat is always to small so it’s better to buy a big boat without all kinds of accessories ( Like Lund ) or an second hand. If money is no issue, still buy a boat matching to your fishing tactics.
